The Measurer has gone through several name changes over the years.
Originally released as
Measuring Service Accounting System, or MSAS.
Later renamed to
MESA as MEasuring Scheduling and Accounting.
And finally re-branded with the web site name The Measurer.
The Measurer (and under it's previous names) is a product of Space Coast Computers, Inc. (SCCI). This product has been in use for since 1999 when it was first commissioned by John Gandy. SCCI has been part of the Internet community since 1995. We have been developing specialized business applications since 1979.
Those Responsible.
Glenn started development of this project in 1999 by the request of John Gandy. Programmed completely in MS Access and a couple of Batch Scripts. This once simple project grew into a complex Accounting, Time Tracking, Scheduling, Job Estimating tool.
David came on board with the project in 2002 to work on board to create a port from Access into a full fledge Visual Basic application. This dream was never realized and the project was postponed indefinitely. However through the process an install Distribution process was created which is utilized in even today's releases.
Both Glenn and David work on the current releases and the web site. Recently releasing a "Free" version available for anyone to use. It is their hope to give to the world something that they both have worked so hard on, not to go under appreciated.
